Thanks to John McNamare for this contribution: -

hi aodh,
i'd have our own richard dunne on that ex-top4 team of the season.
....just in case you thought we weren't paying attention. well
done on the magnanimous acceptance of unlucky euro defeat by
all arsenal fans. even though ye had more than a case than most
to moan about the result, everyone from liam brady to yourself and
every other arsenal fan seemed to accept the result and got on with things. the chelski crowd are still moaning about luis garcia's goal a few years back and the
manu crowd are perennial bitchers, from ferguson right on down.
it's refreshing. arsenal were terribly unlucky and won't spite liverpool's continuing euro-voodoo especially considering everyone else has the hoodoo over liverpool in the premier league. i never doubted you RAFA! (ahem).
all the best,
john mc
